The result of thoughtful engineering, The Channel Strip includes everything needed to record an audio signal. It all starts with the famed 512c Mic Preamplifier, which includes the benefit of additional Mic, Line or Instrument input switching. Next is the 527 multi-mode Compressor with fully adjustable Threshold, Attack, Release, and Ratio controls on detented pots. The patented THRUST® circuit in the 527 gives your track the "in-your-face" punch that has made this circuit an award winner. Also included in The Channel Strip is probably the most recognized and revered API EQ of all time, the 550A three-band Equalizer with its switchable frequencies and 12dB of boost or cut. The 550A's High and Low frequency bands can be individually switched to be shelving EQs, and the "B.P. Filter" switch inserts a 50Hz to 15KHz bandpass filter. At the output of the unit is the 325 Line Driver, taken directly from API console designs with an output level pot and 10 segment meter. The meter can also be switched to show the output level of the preamp. Each of The Channel Strip's processing pieces can be switched in or bypassed individually, while a flip switch internally routes the compressor after the EQ if desired. Additional features include a sidechain input and the famous API 2520/transformer combination.Features: API 512c Mic Preamplifier API 550A Equalizer API 527 Compressor API 325 Line Driver Complete patching facilities on rear panel Two ten segment LED VU displays Output clips at +30dBm

The Chandler Limited TG Microphone Cassette is a full-featured mixing console channel strip, incorporating elements of the historic EMI/Abbey Road Studios TG12345 recording and mastering desks of the late '60s and '70s.
TG Microphone Cassette
Chandler Limited´s critically acclaimed TG1 Limiter, TG2 Pre-Amp, and Curve Bender EQ, each known for their remarkable reproduction of the EMI TG sound, have been combined to form the ultimate TG Microphone Cassette reimagined to work in a modern recording studio context.
Pre-amp
The pre-amp section of the TG Microphone Cassette makes use of the Chandler Limited TG2 pre-amplifier based on the vintage EMI TG12428. The TG2 pre-amp section includes switchable coarse and variable fine gain adjustment controls for up to +70db overall gain, selectable LINE, DI, 48V phantom power, phase reverse, and switchable rumble filter (low cut.)
The TG2 pre-amp section is coupled directly to the Curve Bender equalizer section.
EQ
The TG Microphone Cassette´s equalizer section is derived from the famed and greatly expanded Chandler Limited EMI TG12345 Curve Bender EQ. The Curve Bender EQ section provides Hi and Low shelf, frequency selectable presence, output control, and bypass functionality.
The Curve Bender EQ section is the second stage of the TG2 pre-amp section, and the EQ output control works as a fader would on a console.
Limiter
The compressor/limiter section of the TG Microphone Cassette is a special adaptation of the Chandler Limited TG1 Limiter tracing its lineage to the historic EMI TG12413 mixing and mastering console limiters.
EMI technical engineers experimented with the use of optos in their audio compressors, and now for the first time ever Chandler Limited introduces the TG1 Opto Limiter.
The TG1 Opto Limiter section of the TG Microphone Cassette is patchable apart from the TG pre-amp and EQ, allowing for independent use of the compressor/limiter on other sources. The TG1 Opto is stereo linkable to a second unit via a standard 1/4" cable.
The TG1 Opto Limiter´s feature-set includes: HOLD, Attack, Release, selectable sharp/rounded knee, output or makeup gain, and true bypass.
TG history
In 1968 EMI and Abbey Road Studios changed their recording and mixing consoles from the valve-driven REDD to the transistorized TG12345 desk. The remarkable sonic quality of the new EMI TG12345 transistor recording console with expanded EQ, and for the first time ever, a compressor/limiter on every channel would forever leave its mark on the Beatles "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd´s "Dark Side of the Moon" albums, as well as recordings by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and the Rolling Stones. Retired from service in 1983, the TG desks were built by EMI for their studios and were never commercially available.

Audio enhancer. Audio destroyer.
Add sparkly brilliance, or grimy roughness, to any sound source. Samplers, drum machines, synths, vocals, the master bus, you name it. Analog Heat MKII is the fiery furnace capable of igniting your music.
All analog, all yours.
The eight stereo analog circuits are designed to quickly access varied and powerful sound shaping. Each circuit has a distinctive way of processing sound. Clean boost, tape-like saturation, tube amp-like enhancement, overdrive, crunch, distortion, harmonic fuzz or high gain? You’ll find your favorite flavor with ease.
Brighter and better
The MKII version of the Analog Heat features improved durability and precision encoders, new tough back-lit keys and a crisp OLED screen. The display is bigger, sharper and brighter: perfect for performing in the dark. There is also additional visual feedback on the Amp, Filter, Envelope and LFO pages that makes overview and understanding of sound processing and modulation a whole lot easier.
Clean Boost – Boosts the signal from 0 to 20 dB, run at a high internal voltage, thus giving plenty of headroom. When fully driven, it sounds similar to overdriving old mixers.
Saturation – Reminiscent of tape like saturation. Wooly and warm.
Enhancement – The perfect circuit for adding glow and sheen to a track or loop.
Mid Drive – Mid-range focused overdrive with a solid and distinct body. Increase the Low EQ setting to add more bass.
Rough Crunch – Gritty, worn and gnarly character. Full of flavor.
Classic Dist – Pleasantly distorts upper mid-range frequencies. Ideal for acid bass lines.
Round Fuzz – Adds a lot of harmonics and alters the signal in interesting and often unpredictable ways.
High Gain – Clear sound with plenty of gain and great sustain. Probably the most aggressive of all the circuits. Very maxed out!

Studio Quality Instrument Preamplifier / DI / EQ / Boost
Like its big sibling the FELiX, ALiX is built into the same ultra-roadworthy floor unit chassis, portable enough to throw in your bag or strap to your pedalboard, but still deliver studio quality sound to the stage. With the same stunning audio performance and legendary reliability as our pro audio range, ALiX brings open, musical and nuanced sonic character to any performance situation.
The same powerful eq section as the FELiX allows simple and intuitive tone shaping. The high pass filter cuts 12dB per octave from 20Hz to 1kHz, and can also be set as a notch filter for chasing down problem feedback or rumble areas. Parametric midrange covers from 70Hz all the way to 8KHz, and fixed low and high controls are carefully voiced for musical shading of bass and treble.
Controls are dead simple and clearly marked on the panel, making them easy to read and tweak on a dark stage. Footswitches include a mute / tune switch for muting all outputs except the dedicated tuner out, and a boost switch which activates the 10dB variable boost circuit.
The instrument input has a 3 position impedance switch to ensure your pickup system sounds its very best. The isolated DI output with our custom wound transformer delivers stunning clarity and bass response with incredibly low noise. A dedicated, level controlled amplifier output can be used to drive a stage amp or personal monitor, and a dedicated tuner output stays active when all the other outputs are muted.
Power is supplied by a universal 100-240VAC input module. 12V phantom is available in the line input for electret / lavalier mics, and we’ve even included a 9VDC 500mA BOSS™ style pedal power output jack, so you can power your tuner and effects right from your ALiX. A TRS insert is included for adding effects.
Regardless of what you play - ALiX is designed to help you sound better, play better and deepen the bond between you and your instrument. Available early spring 2016, in black or silver.
Baby Makes Three.
In a few short years, FELiX and AliX have become the preamps of choice for discerning touring and recording musicians. From Banjo to bass players, they enable performers to perfect their stage and studio sound beyond what was previously possible.
And now directly from this lineage comes BiX, which shares the exact same DNA of its bigger siblings, but with an intelligently streamlined feature set and a price that puts it in reach of any performer, whether on their way to the local coffee shop or the megadome.
Controls are dead simple – input gain, high and low shelving EQ, and a 10dB variable boost circuit, with footswitches for mute and boost. I/O includes the instrument input, separate send and return insert jacks, an unbalanced line output, and a balanced ISO DI output on XLR. For enhanced EQ control, rear panel DIP switches select between two different transition frequencies for both High and Low controls. And BiX is pedalboard friendly, with a 9VDC power input and a compact, rugged low-profile chassis.
Sonically, BiX is a carbon copy of its bigger siblings, with crystal clear, ultra-quiet audio performance. A better than 30VDC internal operating voltage provides for incredible headroom. The highs are smooth and open, and the lows are deep and rock solid. The dynamics and tone of the instrument come alive with clarity and realism, which translates to creating a deeper bond between you and your instrument.
