ADAM Audio subwoofers are designed with one primary goal in mind: Achieving absolute accuracy and an authentic natural sound in the process of music reproduction. This means combining exceptional bass power with precision and clarity in every subwoofer. These elements are the perfect partners to complement the highly acclaimed clarity and transparency of ADAM monitors in the lower and lowest frequencies.
All subwoofers feature both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) input/output connectors and comprehensive control options that allow for adapting to different room acoustics and requirements.
Panel / Controls
All subwoofers feature a level control (-60dB to +6dB), phase switch (180°) and a variable upper frequency control (50-150Hz). For the satellite outputs, an 85Hz high pass filter can be switched in to block frequencies below 85Hz so satellite speakers can meet the Dolby® recommendations for theater sound and also to relieve the satellites from the lower frequencies. In addition, you can either switch on/off the subwoofer manually or use the option of automatically powering up the subwoofer whenever it receives a signal (‚signal-on/ continuous').
Sub10 Mk2
The Sub10 Mk2 is a powerful subwoofer designed to extend the low frequency capabilities of any near or midfield monitoring system down to 25Hz .
A sturdy special woofer with extended cone travel and a heavy-duty coil have been optimized for accurate reproduction from a bass reflex enclosure. The down-firing bass reflex tube avoids intrusive ventilation noise because of its generous size and shape. The PWM amplifier produces over 90% efficiency and can handle critical passages without overheating for long periods of time. An additional output allows you to cascade as many subwoofers as needed.
The Sub10 Mk2 subwoofer provides a precise combination of low cutoff frequency (-3 dB at 25Hz) and an undistorted high sound pressure level (113dB at 1m).

Sub15
The Sub15 is an extremely powerful subwoofer capable of extending the frequency range of main and midfield monitors down to 20Hz. The sturdy 15" woofer is made of an exceptionally rigid aluminum membrane and is driven by two powerful magnets and a 100mm voice coil. With 1000 Watts (RMS) power capability, the PWM amplifier has an efficiency factor of nearly 90%. With these performance features, the Sub15 is easily capable of handling critical musical passages with intense and sudden bass peaks without showing signs of distortion or overheating. The downward firing bass port has been specially designed with ample dimensions and rounded edges to cancel any port noise.
In order to adjust the sound of the Sub15 to different room situations or individual taste, we have implemented several controls including one for volume (-60dB to +6dB) and one for the crossover frequency (50Hz - 150Hz). The satellite speakers can either be driven full range or high pass filtered at 85Hz. This allows the Sub15 to be easily integrated into a Dolby surround setup. Unfavorable phase relationships between the satellites and the subwoofer, particularly in the crossover frequency range, can be easily controlled with the supplied phase reverse switch.
The Sub15 is also very flexible when it comes to connectivity: There are balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) input/output connectors to be found on the rear of the subwoofer.
The Sub15 combines excellent transient response capability with an impressive low frequency performance to enable a genuinely musical reproduction experience. With a high and undistorted sound pressure output of 120dB maximum SPL at one meter, the Sub15 makes the perfect subwoofer for mid-sized and larger control rooms.

Another step forward…
Amphion’s first Base Extension System was introduced back in 2015. The concept of keeping the stereo information all the way down has since spread and many brands have followed suit. The updated BaseTwo25 System combines the best attributes of our previous Base systems making it powerful modern creative audio tool. BaseTwo25 provides insightful detail and control and packs maximum energy into the lowest octave – giving no hidden surprises in the playback – and allows the sound engineer to hear and feel throughout the whole frequency spectrum.
BaseTwo25’s low-frequency extension system is equally at home with any sound making in any application, be it music, gaming, or movies. It excels in any two or multichannel context, where correct reproduction and appreciation of the lowest octave is critical. Amphion’s innovative approach to low-frequency monitoring provides producers, sound engineers, and artists with a completely new perspective on bass frequencies – for example how they contribute to rendering of spaces – especially helpful in modern multichannel and Atmos applications.
The BaseTwo25 is a state-of-the-art monitoring solution converting any Amphion two-way studio monitor into a full-range, time and phase coherent, three-way system. These full-range towers extend all the way down to 20Hz. Each BaseTwo25 has 2 x 10 inch woofers (top) and matching 2 x 10 inch radiators (below) mounted in back-to-back force-canceling mode on both sides of the cabinet. The system is driven by single 2U rack mountable BaseAmp1200, which houses a 2 x 700W amplifier, and Amphion’s discrete filtering module with a crossover selection and variable-level attenuator.
In addition to providing tight, tuneful bass, BaseTwo25 improves midrange clarity and increases the midrange power-handling abilities of the paired monitors. This is achieved by reduced intermodulation distortion as the low-end frequencies are transferred from the monitors to the base extenders. The new selectable crossover provides integration even when extenders are placed behind a large format console, while keeping the monitors on the meter bridge. BaseTwo25 works with all Amphion products, as well as with monitors that have sufficient speed and resolution in the critical upper-bass/lower-mid frequencies.
Amphion’s FlexBase25 is a modern approach to subwoofer design. FlexBase25 is room friendly and equally suited for studio acoustics as well as less-treated home studio environments. It is easy to setup and intuitive to adjust. FlexBase25 is a single box, stereo base extension system, which is placed on the center line between the main speakers.
Wide adjustment possibilities regarding crossover frequency (35-260 Hz), subwoofer level, as well as the mono-stereo spread, allow FlexBase25 to address the needs of a rapidly changing landscape of modern music-making. With a turn of a few dials, the system adapts to any task you happen to be working on. It can be fat, fun, and vibey when writing and producing. It will be precise, correct, and analytical when putting the finishing touches on a track or a film score.
FlexBase25 does not work like a conventional subwoofer. It does not only add, it also transforms. FlexBase25 turns your 2-way monitor into a 3-way full range system, which increases the monitor’s headroom radically. Pair it with One12 or One15 for an ultra-fast, easy to adjust small room full-range system. Place it behind your console and let it blend seamlessly with your One18, Two15 or Two18 monitor, which are located on a meter bridge. When you want to dial in on the midrange the by-pass function allows you to use your monitors for a narrower midrange view.
While FlexBase25 is naturally optimized for Amphion products, nothing prevents using it with different studio monitors as well.
