Product information "Pulse Techniques EQH-2"
First introduced in 1956, the EQH-2 was designed as a more compact alternative to the 3U EQP-1. Retaining the same low-frequency boost/attenuation curves as the EQP-1A, and with high-frequency peak boost centers closely aligned, the EQH-2 delivers the classic Pultec sound in a streamlined format. Featuring a fixed bandwidth for high-frequency boost and a fixed 10 kHz high-frequency attenuation, it maintains the simplicity and musicality that made the originals legendary. Its minimalist Class A output stage, shared with the MEQ-5, is celebrated for its transparency, making the EQH-2 a favorite among top engineers including Dave Cobb and Michael Dumas.
