The Solo6 Be is a compact 2-way nearfield monitor that surprises with its size and extended bass response (40Hz at -3dB). Its 6.5" “W” composite sandwich mid-woofer delivers neutral midrange, controlled midbass, and full low-end performance. The large front laminar port and compact design allow easy integration into studios without any acoustic compromise. User-adjustable settings on the rear panel enable quick adaptation to any room acoustics, making Solo6 Be both portable and flexible.
The inverted Beryllium dome tweeter, a Focal hallmark, reproduces high frequencies with unmatched speed, transparency, and coverage across 5 full octaves (1,000–40,000Hz). Originally reserved for high-end Focal Professional speakers, this tweeter now brings exceptional performance to the SM6 series at an unprecedented price/performance ratio.
The “W” composite sandwich cone (Glass/Foam/Glass) has been developed over 15 years to optimize mass, rigidity, and damping for outstanding sound neutrality. A custom-designed amplification stage uses BASH® technology for the bass/midrange section, combining class AB quality with class D efficiency. The high-frequency tweeter is powered by a pure class AB circuit for exceptional bandwidth and precision.
